My Bird Friend, Tweety

I don't quite understand her since she seems to be so happy stuck in that cage. I don't think I would be very happy if I was in a cage most of the day! Being the good dog that I am, I have never tried to eat her even once. I am quite fascinated by her noises though.

My Favorite Toys

My favorite toy of all. I brought it home with me from Dallas when I left my doggy mom and dad. It is still my favorite. See Momma Claire, I haven't torn it up yet! It isn't supposed to go outside, but I sneak it out sometimes!!!

My new toy. I wouldn't play with it until I buried it and then dug it up. Once it had that nice dirt smell, then I played with it!

Me? In Trouble??

This is where I hide when I am being fussed at. Usually it involves me eating something made of plastic!

More Pictures of Me!!

My Favorite Spot at the top of the yard where I can watch for intruders like workman, cardinals, squirrels....

Showing how attentive I can be.

A nap after a hard day.

Look how cute I am!!!

I think maybe I was abducted by aliens!

Strangers in my Yard!

It was bad enough when my neighbors started remodeling and I had to try and protect them from all the strange people in their backyard...constantly on alert and having to bark to warn then of strangers! It was just tiring. Luckily, they are nice and don't fuss about my barking because they understand that I am just trying to help! After all they are the owners of my favorite girlfriend, Ellie the Pug, so they know all about barking!!

Undoubtedly, the "evil hole with the ground with water" needs work. Because of this, Mom thinks it is ok to continually bring strange men into MY yard! Obviously it is my job to protect Mom and Faith since Dad is off at work. Mom tells me that someone else is coming tomorrow to give them an estimate so it looks like I will be on guard duty again. To make matters worse, once they decide who is going to do the work, I will have people here for a week! I made need to go to a spa or something to be able to deal with all this stress!!!

Stealing the Little Green Apples from the Tree!

I love to pull the apples off the tree in my backyard. Of course they aren't ripe so they taste bad so I never eat them. The last picture is me looking innocent, but if you look closely, you can see the evidence in the grass!

Evil Hole in the Ground With Water

Well, it is that time of the year ago. The time with the big evil hole of water swallows up my owners over and over again. I really don't care if mom, dad or my boy get in because I figure they are big enough to save themselves, but I really hate it when my girl gets in. I guess this stems from the time she rode her bike in the deep end during February of '08. I really haven't gotten over that scare! Luckily my mom knew what my "Timmy is in the well" bark meant and came running!!
Despite my repeated warnings, Faith continues to enjoy getting in that hole. I guess I will have to tolerate this since Mom has told me that I will have to stay inside if I don't stop barking. That doesn't mean I have to like it though!

Slack Owners

My owners are so slack that they haven't logged me on to update my blog in forever! I have tried myself, but my paws are just too large to type!

I had to go to the vet last week because I was shaking my head so much. I was all happy until I got in the door and saw the scary scale. I immediately sat down and my boy had to convince me that it was ok. I finally decided that if I went past it really quickly, they wouldn't have a chance to make me get on it. Even though the scale is very scary, the vet is great. His name is Dr. Huhman (pronounced human, pretty funny huh??). Everytime I see him I get so wound up and crazy. I don't think he believes my owners when they say I only act this way with him! After I calmed down, he was able to check my ears. He found out that I had an ear infection. The doctor gave us ear drops. He seemed very concerned that I would be too wild and wouldn't let my owners put them in. My mom assured him that I would be no trouble (as she gave me that mom/teacher look!). I grinned at her to show I understood.
That night was the time for my first set of drops. I was a little nervous, but I knew when mom said "over", there was no argument, I was to lay down on my side and stay there until she told me I could get up. Whenever I am released from the sit, down or over position, they always say "gato". I have no idea what this means, except that I am free!! I guess I got a little off track there, sorry, back to the ear drops. Mom put the drops in my ears. I really didn't like it, but she followed it up with ear and neck rubs so I guess they aren't too bad.
